Empowering Africa’s next generation of entrepreneurs with the skills, capital, and market access needed to build thriving businesses and transform the continent’s economic future.

Bimi’s Successful Projects

According to a World Bank report, half of Sub-Saharan Africa is under 18. A generation of potential entrepreneurs ready to drive economic development and transformative change across the continent.

For Africa, this represents a unique opportunity to harness the energy, creativity, and ambition of Africa’s youth to drive entrepreneurship and foster innovation. By equipping young people with skills, access to finance, market opportunities, governments, investors, and development organizations, we can transform this demographic advantage into a powerful engine for job creation, economic growth, and sustainable development.

In other words, Africa’s youth bulge is not just a population statistic; it is a vast, untapped entrepreneurial potential. Every young person supported to start a business or scale an enterprise becomes a job creator, contributing not only to their own livelihoods but also to the broader economy and infrastructure development across the continent.

Our Areas Of Focus

Empowering Africa’s youth to become emerging entrepreneurs is not just about supporting individual businesses, it is about strategically leveraging a demographic dividend for broad economic development. By addressing global market access, capital availability, and ecosystem resilience, we can transform a youthful population into a generation of job creators, innovators, and change-makers who drive sustainable growth across the continent.

Entrepreneurship for Digital
Economy

We aim to equip 5,000 youth and women with digital and entrepreneurial skills, support the launch of 150 tech-enabled micro and small enterprises, and create at least 1,500 new jobs within emerging digital markets. Through training, mentorship, and access to digital tools, we help communities build sustainable, future-ready livelihoods and actively participate in the growing digital economy.

Access to Capital

We are committed to expanding access to the full range of capital that entrepreneurs need to start and grow their businesses. Our goal is to connect 2,000 early-stage entrepreneurs to financial capital (grants, loans, and investment), human capital (mentorship and expertise), social capital (networks and market linkages), and technological capital (digital tools and infrastructure). By strengthening these four forms of capital, we aim to help entrepreneurs build resilient enterprises, unlock new sources of income, and contribute to inclusive economic development.

Ecosystem Development

We work to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem by building the networks, institutions, and supportive environments that help businesses thrive. Our goal is to engage 100 ecosystem partners, including incubators, financial institutions, government agencies, and private-sector actors, to create enabling conditions for innovation and growth. Through capacity building, policy advocacy, community engagement, and program partnerships, we aim to support 1,000 entrepreneurs with improved access to markets, resources, and opportunities, fostering a more inclusive and resilient economic landscape.
